You’re bound to have a few questions…

  • How do I change the email address associated with my account?

    • Login to the platform.
    • Click your name in the top right corner. Choose Profile.
    • At the top click ‘Contact details’.
    • Update details and click ‘Update profile’
    • You’ll be sent an email to confirm the changes

    Should you have any issues with updating your email address, or if the person who opened your PartnerUp account has now left the company and you would like to take over the account please email: [email protected]

  • Why can’t I see any brand names on the matching cards?

    On the Matches page we keep Brand names anonymous to avoid any unwarranted contact outside of the platform.

    When you receive a connection request you will be able to see the brand’s name and can research them to ensure they are the right fit to collaborate with. And vice versa. When you send a request, the other brand will be able to see your brand name. This helps ensure you only connect with relevant brands.

    In the Pitch area we show all brand information.

  • How does PartnerUp Work?

    To access the platform and connect with other brands you will need to sign up by completing a short but thorough questionnaire about your brand and the types of brands you are interested in.

    The questionnaire creates your profile which other brands can see the details entered EXCEPT your contact details and brand name/website. A paid subscription gives you 6 credits to use per month.

    There are 3 main areas of the platform.

    Matches – Here you can view your recommended matches and send requests to other brands. Sending a request uses 1 credit

    Pitch – View current collab opportunities and Pitch to get involved or you can submit your own Feature for other brands to Pitch to you. Pitching to another brand uses 1 credit. Creating a Feature for your brand uses 3 credits.

  • Can the platform be used worldwide?

    At present we have only launched the platform to UK brands but we have a waiting list for global brands.

    If you would like to join our waiting list please either:
    Contact us with your name, email address, brand and country.
    Or you can Sign up for free and someone will be in touch.

  • How do I cancel my subscription? And what are the Subscription T&Cs?

    Deactivate your profile (non-payment): As you are using the free version there is no subscription to cancel, therefore please contact us with your details and we will deactivate your profile.

    Cancel a paid subscription:

    • Login to the platform.
    • Click your name in the top right corner and click ‘Subscriptions’ from the menu.
    • Click on the Stripe access, you’ll be redirected to a Stripe payment page
    • Click ‘Cancel’ and confirm
    • You will receive an email to confirm the changes

    Rolling monthly subscription T&Cs: Your card will be charged monthly. You can cancel your subscription at any time before the end of the month and your subscription will end on your next renewal date.

    Annual subscription T&Cs: Your card will be charged annual. You can cancel your subscription at any time and your subscription will then end on your next renewal date. We do not offer refunds if you cancel earlier than the renewal date.

  • Some of my matches are not the right fit for my brand, how can I remove these as options?

    If a brand you have been matched with does not look like a good fit for you, click the ‘No thanks’ option on the matching card on the bottom right, this will hide them as a match. The brand’s details will move to your ‘Declines’ section, you can always add them back to your list of matches at any time.

    The other brand is not notified of this.

  • How much does it cost to use PartnerUp? Is there a free trial?

    You can sign up for free. This enables you to have a look around the platform, check out your matches, view collaboration opportunities and access the Inspiration area.

    You will need a paid account to send and receive connection requests, pitch to collaborate on opportunities and feature your brand.

  • Can I purchase more credits?

    Yes! If you have a subscription to our Essentials then you can buy more credits.

    • Login to the platform
    • Go to Profile on the left hand side of the menu bar
    • Click ‘Subscriptions & Add-ons’ at the top
    • Here you can purchase one-off credits or additional monthly credits
  • How will I know when a brand wants to connect with me?

    We will notify you by email each time a brand has requested to connect with you.

    Or login to the Platform to view your requests. They appear in the ‘Requests’ area on the left hand side.

    Please ensure your contact information is kept up to date so we can notify you each time you receive a connection request. You can edit your contact information in the Profile area of the platform.

  • I have requested to connect with a brand but they have not responded, what should I do?

    We do our very best in matching you with relevant brands that have expressed interest in brand collaborations. However we cannot guarantee a reply or partnership activity.

    We will send the brand a gentle reminder to respond to your request whether they want to partner up or not.

    Don’t forget you have 6 connection credits to use every month, there are plenty more brands in the sea!

    You can also cancel your connection request at any point if you would like to retrieve back your connection credit and use it on another brand (within the same month).

  • What kind of brand to brand partnership opportunities are there?

    There are plenty of ways you can partner up with another brand for unique partnerships and creative collaborations!

    If you have signed up to PartnerUp, you have access to our Collaboration Inspiration area with 25 different collab ideas, tips and templates. Login here and click the Lightbulb on the left hand menu.

  • A brand has requested to connect but I am not interested, what should I do?

    Login to the Platform, go to ‘Requests’ on the left hand menu, choose the relevant brand and click No Thanks. We will send them a nice reply on your behalf.

    Please respond to all connection requests so you don’t leave the other brand hanging.

  • I don’t have any matches, what should I do?

    If your dashboard is not showing any matches please try the following:
    – Update your brand information by going to the Profile area on the left hand menu. Adjust some of your requirements for a partner brand.
    – Refresh the page
    – If this does not work, please contact us directly with your details so we can look into your profile.

  • What are the benefits of brand x brand collaborations and partnerships?

    There are SO many benefits to collaborating with a like-minded brand! Here’s a few:

    – Reach new audiences and gain new customers

  • We are a marketing/PR/social media agency, can we use this platform?

    Yes! You can sign up on behalf of a brand you manage. Please ensure the details in the sign up form reflect the brand you manage, but use your own contact details.

    If you manage multiple brands please complete the sign up form on behalf of one brand to begin with. Once you have access to the platform you will be able to add multiple brands under your login and manage them separately.

  • Can I communicate with potential brand partners before committing to a partnership?

    Once both brands have agreed to connect you will be shared each other’s contact details so you can discuss partnership opportunities further. There is no obligation for either brand to commit to a partnership. We simply provide you with all the tools to establish a connection with other brands that enables cool collaborations and powerful partnerships.

  • What happens after I send a connection request/receive a connection request.

    Sending a connection request: After you have sent a connection, please wait for the brand to respond. You will be notified either way if they choose to accept or decline your connection request. If they accept (Yay!) you will be notified by email and their brand details will be shared for you to make direct contact with them.

    If the brand declines your connection, you will be notified by email of this. But don’t sweat, there are plenty more brands to connect with!

    Receiving a connection request: You will be notified by email each time someone requests to connect with you. You’ll need to login to the Platform to respond. If you choose to accept the request you’ll be provided with the brand’s contact details. If you choose to decline the request, we will send a nice reply on your behalf.

     

  • How do you ensure brands are a good fit for each other?

    We ask all brands to complete our comprehensive questionnaire based on their brand ethos, customer profile, types of partnerships they are interested in and who their ideal brand partner would be. Then our algorithm works it’s magic by taking their answers, and the other brands’ answers to match together by %.

  • Do you work with Influencers?

    No we do not work with influencers. Our focus is to connect brands together for partnerships and collaborations.

  • I haven’t launched my business yet, can I still sign up?

    Yes you can. During the sign up there is a question which asks if your brand has launched. If you answer ‘No’, you can still complete the sign up form, access the platform and view your matches. But you will not be able make connections until your brand has launched and you have a paid subscription.

    Once you are ready to start making connections, go to the Profile area in the platform. On the question ‘Has your business launched?’, change this to yes. You will now be able to send and receive connection requests providing you have a paid subscription.
